    CASH ONLY! just wanted to make sure you are aware because it's awesome and you don't want to get to the front of the line without enough! The short ribs are our favorite as well as the karage. Service is always great, food is amazing quality for the price. I'm bummed they charge for the sauces but it's only a quarter each. Great spot to grab food and head to Central Park for an awesome downtown San Mateo day!

    While I was waiting for my food I saw the chef handle raw chicken. Without washing his hands, he went on touching and arranging to go orders. When I told the other employee what happened he brushed me off and went back to work. I have never left a one star review before, but being so laissez fair with customer’s health surely warrants this.

    Always friendly staff, even when busy they handle business very well. Helps to be patient but pays off for a quick and delicious to go meal! Also very decent prices too.

    This is a Cash Only spot. I always get the katsu curry (either pork or chicken). This corner spot is legit if your looking for some Japanese curry.
